Lindsey Britt
Lindsey has been a focused pursuer of source energy via movement.  With a childhood full of dance classes and sports she found yoga in 1998 at the age of 19.  She quickly felt a sense of deep belonging that surpassed any previous experience.  In 1999 she immersed herself in a Sivananda Yoga Teachers Training in New York.  The fire was further stoked with a Teacher Training's with Manju Jois in Ashtanga 2004, with J&J in AcroYoga 2008, and with Paul Grilley in Yin Yoga 2008.
After taking a Thai Yoga Therapy workshop in 2005 she fell in love with Thai Bodywork.  Since then she has attended two training's with Chuck Duff in Chicago, apprenticed with Jill Harman-Strong for one year.  She has  attended Level I and II Thai Training’s with Jennifer Yarrow at Frog Lotus.  Lindsey has visited Thailand twice attending the Sunshine Thai Massage School twelve day training in the Village, spent 4 days privately studying Nuad Karsai with Khun Ni, completed a Chi Nye Tsang course with Coocky as well as a Foot Reflexology course at The Loikroh Traditional Thai Massage School.
Her degree in Sociology (coupled with a minor in Dance), and subsequent five years of social work have taught Lindsey that community is essential.  Lindsey believes that even more essential then community is self acceptance and yoga in any form is a journey toward that light that connect us all.  She has limitless love and gratitude for her teachers as they have given her a platform to jump beyond herself.

Currently Lindsey is greatly influenced by the Shadow Yoga Practice, her Pit Bull Sophia, Acrobatics, Chi Nye Tsang, Graffiti and Traveling.
